The Long Siesta - Webcomic Archive

The Long Siesta is a webcomic which ran from 2012 until 2014.

Anita is a flaky woman entering her early late 20s, who decides to run away on a one-way ticket to the future, but she slept through her wake-up call and the world she wakes up to is not the shimmering metropolis she dreamt about. 

The Long Siesta is a post-apocalyptic adventure, and while it maintains a relatively upbeat and even comedic tone, it also addresses themes of neurodivergence, ptsd, genocide, and corrupt & abusive systems. 

This webcomic was written and drawn over 10 years ago, while I am still proud of this story, I do admit there are some lines and decisions made that I may not have done today. 

The zip folder "Comics" contains the complete archive of the original 200+ page story. 

"Gallery" contains a collection of all the sketches, bonus art, and fan art related to the comic.
